Christmas Decor for a Holiday Home

OK, I will admit, I am a fanatic when it comes to decorating my home for the holidays, both inside and out. But, I like my home to still look good and overly done and trashy with too much inappropriate stuff. That's why I choose my holiday decor items carefully.

Vintage is a favorite style for my decor, especially for Christmas. I like to add simple things to make my decor festive without being cluttered. Home accessories like Vintage Christmas throw pillows make great additions. Tossing one in the corner of the couch and one on a side chair is all it takes to make your home more holiday festive.

For the outdoors, I do like to put up lights around my house. But those are only for night time. During the day light hours, you can't see the lights. So I like to use holiday garden flags for my outdoor decor. To see them beautifully waving in the wind just makes me feel more in the Christmas mood. I do have several actually.

Simple accessories, yes. That's more to my taste even though I am a fanatic about decorating. But, I get a more classic look and like the look better.
