Creating a Tropical Theme Bedroom

A friend of mine asked for help in decorating her new home. She recently moved from the Midwest to Florida and has been very excited about using a tropical theme for her home.

Like most of us, she's on a limited budget. So starting from scratch to create her theme was not a good idea for her. But, we know that's not necessary. No painting, no wall paper, we don't even need to replace the majority of her furniture. Yet, we will create for her a wonderful home with a tropical feel.

We are starting with her bedroom to create that great theme. Of course, at Easy Bedroom Decor, we decided to do a series of articles to show the decorating process and the accent choices we are presenting.

The first in the series is Tropical Theme Bedroom Lamps. But, keep watching as we add decorative pillows, new bedding, wall clocks, accent pieces and much more.

As we go along, we will also be decorating her living room, kitchen and bathroom. What fun that will be. At least she and I are looking forward to that. Hope you will, too.
